
Just read it for the first time.
Sucked.
Aside from the occasional laugh, chapter 24 is about the only interesting part.Well, I thought the part with the hooker would have been interesting, but of course he didn't...well, I won't ruin it for you.
In brief, I felt the unraveling of events from the view of such an unreliable and one-dimensional narrator made for an utterly wretched form. Anyway, I'm glad Salinger is a recluse. He can stay in his phony cabin/hole/dwelling all he wants.
